STANDING FIRM

Standing firm in Jesus is one of the basic attributes a child of God must possess. It is a stoic lifestyle in God which shows that no matter the circumstance or level of the pressure, you believe that God is in control. Similarly, standing firm is  seen when the wind blows so hard and problems kicks from all angel to the extent that you feel like throwing in the towel, but on releasing that you have God who stills all storms you smile on in faith and trudges on without looking back.

Standing firm in trying times requires absolute faith in God because at such times, all you need to do is call out to those things which seems insurmountable as if they are plain. You need to feed your mind consistently with the word of God which increases your faith. When the situation showcases hopelessness, standing firm in Jesus requires that you profess positively even when a situation suggests otherwise.
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13) it is indisputable the fact that God is always standing with His children through their adverse situations. Usually, He comes to His children’s aid when all hope is lost.
When we stand firm on the promises of God, our composure spurs God to action and confounds satan and his host. Are you presently passing through questionable times in your life? Are you confused and uncertain that you are drawing back to the world? I have a word from God to you now “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee”. (Isaiah 43:2)

Beloved, develop an attitude of faith, look up unto heavens, Jesus has your blessing neatly wrapped and will send it to you now. The Psalmist rightly says: “since I was born and now I am getting old, I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor His children begging for bread” (Psalm 37:25) Those promises can only delayed but can never be denied. Sometimes God allows some things to happen so that you can come closer to Him and learn to depend on Him more for your needs.

Wipe those streaming tears, our God, the Jehovah Jireh has come to your rescue. Do not weaver, do not doubt in your heart, stand still and experience the salvation of the Lord.

God bless.
