Dealing with Anger

Proverbs 16:32 - He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

Anger is one of the many instruments the devil uses to destroy the lives of some individuals in our world today. Anger is dangerous, destructive, humiliating and demonic.

Anger is a feeling. It is either a person is an angry fellow or meek in the spirit. It is a spirit of satan and only lives in a life that has not known Christ because the bible states that when you are in Christ Jesus, old things has passed away and every other thing becomes new. Am not talking about getting offended or upset, anger here is the type that its effect is disastrous.

Notably, anger sparks up at any slightest provocation. Most times, the people under its influence are very destructive. They can pull down what took them a life time to set up in a second and tends to regret later because most of them act before they think. A lot of people who cannot control their anger can hardly keep relationships as no matter how hard they try to pretend, they will just burst out of their shell one day and lash out.

Any woman who is ruled by the spirit of anger will always find it difficult to have a peaceful home. Her husband and children will always walk on their toes in the home in order to stay away from her trouble. She can hardly keep a job as no employer will tolerate a person who out of anger will chase his clients away. Her disposition showcases trouble and this keep people distant from her.

Now how can one deal with this unwanted destructive spirit of anger? There are such secular courses that teaches on anger management, employees who work as frontline staff usually undergo trainings on how to manage anger and resentment because of some irate customers. Some are taken to rehabilitation homes while a whole lot of them stays away from anything that can spark off their weak point, they are all good methods.

Interestingly, the only surest and most reliable way of dealing with anger is by surrendering it to Jesus. The scripture tells us in John 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly"  if you are reading this message and you know that anger controls your life, hear this; Jesus came to this world to give you life and He is the only one that can set you free from the claws and demonic influence of anger. Do not allow the devil to destroy your life and destiny through it. Cry out to The Lord today, Holy Spirit has a wonderful way of pulling it off from the roots in ones life.

While you have taken it to God, do not forget to fill your mind with the word of God. Romans 12:2 says; "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God". It is only the word of God that can counter the spirit of anger, study it regularly and you shall be set free.
