THE NEW WOMAN WITH A NEW NAME

(Ephesians 4:24, Colossians 3:10) A new woman with a new name is the woman who is clothed in righteousness and true holiness. A woman who is living a godly life devoid of sin. There is a reflection and a radiance of God’s beauty in her life. Her attributes are generally characterized with goodness, simplicity and love. When a woman regenerates her life, everything about her changes and even her spirit will bear her witness that a renaissance has taken place in her. Her comportment changes, her relationship with others becomes better, day by day she lives her life with eternity in view and her soul pants earnestly for the God of righteousness. What is this new name you may ask? It means A CHRISTIAN WOMAN, the woman of the proverbs, the most sought after, the pride of her household, a friend of the needy, an evangelist, a prayer warrior, a threat to the devil and so on. This new creature in Christ Jesus cannot pass by unnoticed by colleagues and neighbours. They feel and behold the newness in her attitude and behaviour generally. The smile on her face tells the world that she has found a great treasure which she can never let go. Her dress sense changes as she is now conscious of the fact that her body is the temple of the Holy Ghost and must be properly covered. She enjoys peace like a river, the hassles are over. If you are already experiencing these newness as it is outlined above, congratulations to you. But if you are not, the door is still wide open. Jesus is calling out to you today. ‘I came not to call the righteous but the sinners to repentance’ (Luke 5:32) what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and loose his soul? (Mark 8:36) Dear friend, have you made up your mind to follow Jesus and never turn back or are you halting between two opinions? Are you risen with Christ? Or are you panting after the world and the toys therein? To put it plainly; are you are child of God or not? The scripture says; He that commit sin is of the devil for the devil sinneth from the beginning. (1John 3:8) If you are not yet born again, right now you can surrender your life to Jesus by confessing your sins and repenting of them and accepting Jesus into your life as your Lord and personal Saviour. Thereafter, determine to love Him with your whole heart and reign with Him eternally.
